I spent the day at a meeting today in which the speaker discussed the pressure society puts on us to attain perfection. To me, perfection is deeply personal and means different things to different people.
Perfection lives in perception
Crafted in the eye of the beholder
Appreciated by the designator
Declared to be so
Perception lives in perfection
Perfection exists in creation
Designated in the mind of the master
Valued by the maker
Declared to be so
Creation exists in perfection
Perfection explodes in passion
Venerated in the circle of artistry
Treasured by the congregation
Declared to be so
Passion explodes in perfection
Perfection
Lives in perception
Exists in creation
Explodes in passion
Thrives in uniqueness

This has been rolling around in my mind and thought it belonged here, it’s not mine, but from an inspiring writer that I wish to include and share.
