I tied a string around

my worries and sent them free

I watched them fly like a kite dancing in the clouds

knowing the keeper of my burdens

could be cruel or might be kind



Been knocked down and kicked around

dragged over and pulled under

but today I release these shackles

Sailing far above it all

I’m spreading my wings



Balancing actions and consequences

Weighing pros and cons

Sometimes you have to flip that scale
