Walking across age and generations
to collect precious memories
Digging deep into the past
to reach the future, just dawning
Stretching to grasp a tiny hand
I sigh, relishing in this moment
the subtle shift between who I was
and who I am defines my future

You may know the song “precious memories” soulful too. Google for the tune. I get to be immersed in it when the car has that cd.

I was not familiar with the song, but I found it and just listened. It’s beautiful. Almost a prayer itself…thank you for sharing!
