So I let go and soar
to the new heights I crave
My appetite for precision
voracious, anticipatory,
relentless and true
Honor those that came before
to learn the lessons they gave
I question each decision
with words and allegory
sometimes painted blue
I will continue to explore
to find a way to be brave
