If I could somehow control time
how bells would chime
we’d capture hope
to help us cope
Each day a new beginning
always winning
no wars to face
no cures to chase
The future would hold forever
loss, never ever
no tears to cry
no more goodbyes
If I could control time

Glad you’re back and sorry to hear about your daughter. Loved the rhyme in this poem!

Your timing is perfect
I’ve nothing to expect
Of what’s left
after life’s grand theft
