Come with me into the unknown
We’ll cross the bridge of thought
that spans the distance between
everywhere and nowhere
Commit to this walking meditation
Not for love nor money
Not for yesterday or tomorrow
but for now, the gift of this moment
We’ll visit the storehouse of good intentions
and push open its rusted gate
We’ll brush aside dust-laden cobwebs
and light the lanterns
And as we peruse the wall of promises
we’ll recognize some as our own
We’ll hear whispers as universal wishes
fly on angel wings to find their place
everywhere and nowhere
Let’s span the distance
between the bridge of thought
and the dark unknown to find it ﹘
a place of action
Commit to this walking meditation
Not for love nor money
Not for yesterday nor tomorrow
but for now, the gift of this moment
We’ll leave that storehouse of good intentions
with a tended garden and mended fence
We’ll leave the windows open and
the walls washed clean
A promise kept
A prayer answered
A request granted
An intention fulfilled

Your poetic use of the element of contrast in this blog is very impressive.
