The poetry of hope can hide
between the lines, waiting
beneath words scribbled on a page

Poised like a patient messenger,
it watches as understanding unfolds
with music that creates gentle melodies

And if this marriage of chord and verse
happens as fortune smiles, magic will stir the soul
and memories will carve a place in the heart

If you are very lucky, if you bear witness
to connections made in real time ﹘
peace and love will dance as one

together
