Cherry blossom serenades soften the sky
and calm the fiercest winds here by the lake
We commit to this moment with a sigh
and chisel our names in stone; a keepsake
Like tender shoots in the dirt, we awake
refreshed, renewed, and ready
to move past even the deepest heartache
with promises that hold our hearts steady

I found “We commit to this moment with a sigh” provocative. A lot of interesting contrast in this poem.
